Hi, I’m Shel.

I’m a Southern California native with a passion for Britney Spears, sparkling water, and French fries (especially from Spitz in downtown SLC. You can thank me later.).

When I’m not doing freelance photography at abandoned airplanes, I’m working on the marketing team of a national restaurant company. There you can find me posting on social media, taking photos of beautiful food and finding other ways to make you hungry.

When I first moved to Utah, I worked as a producer for ABC where I told stories about breaking news. Today, I’m still telling stories—your stories—through vibrant, yet raw snapshots of your now.

My Philosophy

I’m not that photographer that forces you to say “cheese” or pop a skinny arm. This moment is about you; I’m just the fly on the wall with a really expensive camera to catch the moment. I’m here to immortalize your scrunchy-nosed laugh, your husbands “get-over-here” face, and the dimples in your newborn’s knuckles.
